Terms · listen responsibly
Audio Tests Online provides free educational audio tests. By using the tools you agree to use them at safe volumes and to treat every result as informational.
Not a medical device
Hearing content on this site is screening and education only — never diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Nothing here replaces a qualified audiologist or hearing professional.
Levels are relative, not absolute
All readouts are in dBFS, relative to full scale — not SPL. Browser playback is uncalibrated, so a reading here cannot tell you how loud a sound is in your room or whether it is safe. Start quiet, never raise the volume to chase a faint tone, and stop immediately if anything hurts.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your volume knob. High frequencies, sub-bass, and noise at high gain can damage hearing and equipment. Every tone starts from your gesture, and Stop and Mute are always available — use them.
Content and availability
Tools are provided as-is, without warranty. Pages, frequencies, and presets may change as the site improves. Be kind: do not abuse, scrape aggressively, or misrepresent results as certified measurements.
