Audio Tests Online targets WCAG 2.2 AA. Audio tests pose an obvious tension — sound is the subject — so every tool pairs its signal with text.

What we commit to

No audio autoplays, and every signal starts from a button you press. All transport, generator, and quiz controls work with a keyboard alone. Every meter and visualizer has a text value, and no result is conveyed by color or sound alone. Visualizers are pausable and never flash more than three times per second. Motion respectsprefers-reduced-motion.

Known limits

Hearing and localization tests inherently require hearing the signal — the text readouts describe what played and what it means, but cannot substitute for the listening itself. Deaf and hard-of-hearing users can still use generators, analyzers, and every explainer.
